By far my favorite restaurant hands-down. I’ve been going here every year for my birthday and special occasions with my family and friends since I was a young teen, and it’s still as good as it was then. The best chips and salsa. I have been to so many Mexican restaurants and this one takes the cake. It has a cozy atmosphere, it’s clean, good food, fast service, affordable, and friendly staff. I still drive an hour to eat there when I can.

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere! A great little restaurant if you’re in the mood for Mexican food. Portions sizes were very good and the food came out super fast. If you like burritos look no further because the ones here are amazing, especially the burrito San Jose. Really a hidden gem in Chagrin/Bainbridge area. Nice slow paced chill environment. Outdoor seating in the summer is also very quaint and cute. 10/10!

Plaza Agave has very good Mexican food. We like that they don't put mushrooms and broccoli in the fajitas like other places do. Not sure why that started at other Mexican restaurants. It's not a stir fry! The staff are friendly and efficient.

Food was delicious. Guy taking orders over the phone was directly under a loud speaker playing loud music, making communication harder than needed. They botched a flour tortilla substitution for corn, prolly because of this, but fixed it immediately. Inside is nice, outside is pretty beat with faded banners and half lit signs, which was not my best first impression as a new customer. People were nice and the food was quite good.

This is legit the best overall Mexican food around! Puts the big names to shame. Definitely get the chicken tacos on dollar taco night... You won't be disappointed! Edit : I am as carnivorous as it gets. IMHO, a meal isn't really a meal without meat on the plate. HOWEVER, it is lent... Soooooo I, hesitantly, went with a vegetarian dish. I ordered the "Three Vegetable Enchiladas" to be exact. If you like Mexican food, YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE!

There is definitely not a shortage of Mexican restaurants, and we can all say they are generally “Ok” and pretty much the same. I try to find the joints that step up their game and try to be a little different. Plaza Agave is one of them! FRESH guacamole, delicious food all around, great menu options and value, and even good service is what they have consistently given us.
